Frequently asked
questions

Where do I get started?

That's easy! We recommend starting out with the Heritage Collection, as those pieces are apart of our founding collection and quintessential Anabel Higgins. Then head over to the chains to mix and match! These pieces are versatile and can be worn many ways, from jeans and a tee to an evening ensemble.

Do you offer engraving or custom design?

Of course! Hand engraving is our specialty! Many of our pieces come with complimentary engraving which you can personalize at checkout. If you choose to have your piece engraved by us, someone from our shop will contact you personally to verify your design options with whatever pieces you choose.

We also offer custom design and love this option, especially converting antique pieces you'd like to breathe new life into. If there's a classic Anabel Higgins design that you have your eye on, but wish it was made in a different stone or metal, please contact us, we'd love to work with you!

Where is your jewelry made?

All of our pieces are made by hand by a select number of highly skilled craftspeople in Los Angeles, California. Every aspect is fashioned in our home city, from stone and metal sourcing to fabrication and engraving.

How should I care for my Anabel Higgins pieces?

If you would like to get a bright shine on an original Anabel Higgins piece, we recommend taking it to a local jeweler who can polish it for you professionally. Otherwise, we recommend any conventional at-home jewelry polish.

Antique conversion pieces, however, should never be polished as this can compromise or even ruin the pieces. We recommend being careful with these items, showing them the love and care they deserve at their old age! If you are unsure of how to properly clean an antique conversion piece, we suggest reaching out to us or visiting a local jeweler who specializes in antiques.

Store your Anabel Higgins pieces in the packaging they came with, or in proper jewelry storage. Do not leave your jewelry anywhere where it can be easily scratched.

What is the lead time on special orders?

Depending on the time of year, production can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Our pieces are made by hand entirely and usually to order, which is the cause of this period. This is not fast fashion, nor should it be treated as such. We create heirloom quality jewelry meant to be kept and passed down for generations. That kind of thought and craftsmanship takes time.

If you would like to rush an order, please contact us before purchasing any pieces so that we can notify you if an accommodation is possible within your timeframe.

For whatever reason, if there is an issue or delay, someone from the shop will contact you directly to keep you apprised.
