all about annie
As a fifth generation Californian, Annie grew up on a working lemon grove ranch - citrus blossoms, horses, dogs and chickens lived outside, while English and French antiques, fine china, monogramed linen and hip mid-century design permeated the interior of the redwood and glass ranch home.
Her aesthetic formed as a juxtaposition of equestrian style, English Regency, fine craftsmanship and glamorous practicality. The pieces she designs are for sophisticated women who have an appreciation for art and something reminiscent of the past, but who also want to invest in modern heirlooms.
The jewelry is fabricated in Los Angeles, each piece handcrafted in 18K Gold and/or Fine Silver (999). Customers are encouraged to add their monogram, a special date, or personal message on each piece to make it their own.
Annie started Anabel Higgins Jewelry during her recovery from breast cancer. Because of this, 10% of all profits are donated directly to charities related to breast cancer research, diagnosis, and treatment. Since the line's founding, Annie has expanded donations to cover other organizations that pertain to children's health and foundations that fight inequality. Purchasing from Anabel Higgins won't just brighten your day, it will brighten someone deserving's day too!
Fans of reinventing the old, AHJ packaging is sourced from vintage and handcrafted, just like our pieces. Each and every gem will come wrapped uniquely. Not enthusiastic about traditional jewelry packaging, AHJ bags and boxes are made with the intent of being reused anyway you see fit.
Anabel Higgins Jewelry has been featured in Vogue US, W, and Victoria Magazine.
