shine on

You can never have a bad hair day with pearls dripping from your locks. Case in point, anything from Jennifer Behr. How fabulous are these pearl barrettes? These look great with wavy long hair or pinned up in a chic twist. Truly versatile pieces. I'm all about a bold look, especially when it comes to jewelry, so layer those barrettes with a strand of Pasadena Pearls! These bad mamas come in multiple lengths and colors, so you can truly pair them with any look. Wear plain or dangling with charms, vintage or new, and you have an outfit that's all yours! Who says pearls need a special occasion?

The Pasadena Pearls come in classic white or pink ombré. Great on their own or paired with charms.

Of course we have no idea if pearl powder actually works, but it certainly sounds fun! Moon Juice carries a popular option that could be a great stocking stuffer.

What would a trendy pearly gift guide be without the very popular Gucci belt?

sparkle away

This may sound strange if you haven't heard of it yet, but ingesting pearls is a thing now. Not in their full form though! As a powder, pearls are supposed to help transform you into a glowing goddess. I'm certainly interested in giving it a try!

While we're on the topic of beauty, these black pearl eye masks from Shangpree fight lines and wrinkles while brightening your skin. Something just about everyone will need after the holidays, even this year, I'm sure! Both the powder and and eye masks make for great stocking stuffers.

If you've seen my Styling Masterclass, then you know I'm not normally one for wearing jeans, but dang! These Sea NY pearl acid wash jeans are too cute to not wear.

How awesome is this pearl-inspired clutch from Cult Gaia? A perfect gift for the social butterfly dreaming of party days gone by.

a glow like no other

Now for my favorite way to wear pearls (after jewelry, obviously!): as clothing and accessories. Personally, I have a pearl and crystal encrusted Burberry half trench I just love. It's so much fun and adds major punch to every outfit. You can get a similar look with these cute jeans from Sea NY, above, or a classic Gucci belt. And if you know someone who misses dressing up for a bit of nightlife, then brighten their holiday with something they can look forward to using in the (hopefully near) future, like this Cult Gaia clutch. Pure fabulousness! Pearls can make the most basic outfit shine.

Don't forget to bedazzle your home! I have a small collection of Moroccan mother of pearl inlay side tables that can be moved easily from room to room on a whim. Add instant character and a hint of sheen to whatever corner of your home that needs it. This one from Chairish looks solid!

For this gift guide, I'd like to shine a bright light on Pasadena Cancer Support Community. They provide assistance, encouragement, and education for those with a cancer diagnosis, along with family and caregivers. Please consider making a donation this holiday season!

Keep an eye out for our ongoing Gift Guides, happening now through Christmas Eve.
